Survived the 3rd of December. Always a day for reflecting. It's the anniversary of my mother's delivery of a baby boy. Used to drink a toast with champaign each year to mark my marvel that I made it another year. Gave that up years ago when I got married. Now I marvel that she's still by my side. Got birthday wishes from my son and daughter-in-law-to-be as well as mother- and brother-in-law. Course I got lots of love from my wife. Enjoyed the day when all's said and done. Thak you Lord for my wonderful family!

Winter in Southern California. I'm cold. The sun is bright and no clouds to be seen. How do they survive in snow and ice? Almost 60 degrees outside. I'm cold.
